Beside the COP27 conference taking place in November in Sharm el Sheikh, this is a very special year with celebrations of 70 years of diplomatic relations between Egypt and Germany. On this occasion, a high-ranking delegation of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research from Germany is visiting Egypt.

To highlight the long standing cooperation, this event shall bring together a group of scientific experts from Egypt and Germany to present and discuss common experiences as well as best practices. Furthermore, they will examine together possible channels of scientific exchange to initiate a successful collaboration between the participating institutions and scholars. By bringing relevant start-ups to the table, the organizers also intend to add a practical perspective to the discussion. 

Thematic Working groups will provide a platform to deeper scientific and result oriented discussions.
